What is bodyflying?
Bodyflying is a flying sport similar to skydiving. Bodyflying is so close to the experience of skydiving that skydivers train at bodyflying facilities. However bodyflying does not require you to jump out of a plane, instead you fly supported by a column of air in a vertical wind tunnel. The majority of bodyflying centres are indoor making bodyflying an all weather extreme sport.
Is it called bodyflying or body flying?
Both bodyflying and
body flying are used as well as indoor skydiving.
We have chosen to stick to bodyflying as
Google shows that skydiving is far more commonly used than sky diving
and we expect that as this exciting adventure sport gains popularity,
that bodyflying
will become the accepted usage. We did hedge our

too though, so don't waste your time looking ;-)
How much does bodyflying cost?
Less than skydiving! Typically a trial session of bodyflying
in
the UK will cost between £30 and £50 making it a
great sport to try if you fancy an exciting day out and a superb gift
for any adrenaline junkie that you know. If you want go
bodyflying regulalry most centers offer bodyflying lessons as a
package. In addition if you are a skydiver ask about
special skydiving lessons where you can practice your skills
without the weather constraints. There are many experience voucher
companies that sell bodyflying lessons as a gift.
